It all started at Virginia Tech.

Bridget was the inspiration for, and helped start Shavestix, along wither her mom, Bernadette. While she was a student at Virginia Tech, and a member of Alpha Phi Eta Omicron Chapter, she created the brand's very first fundraiser - by donating a percentage of Shavestix sales to the Alpha Phi Foundation - which supports Womens' Heart Health. 

Bridget created the marketing, set up a photo shoot with her sorority sisters, put up posters, launched a social media campaign and got sisters, families, and friends involved. The fundraiser ran for just a few weeks and generated $3,000 in sales. Shavestix donated $1500 back to the Alpha Phi Foundation. 

Bridget graduated in 2024 and still helps with Shavestix, often consulting on the business. We started brainstorming about how we could bring this successful fundraiser to other sororities.

We’ve created a simple, 30-day Shavestix fundraiser where chapters can raise money for their philanthropy or another approved cause. We provide the promotional materials and shopping link, customers order directly from Shavestix, and the chapter receives a portion of eligible sales. No inventory to buy or orders to distribute!
